After 10 years of daily use, one of 4 PGT patio slider handles broke. The handle was for the SGD730 series door which was discontinued. The handles for the SGD770 series would fit, but not match. This handle is an exact EOM replacement. This is also the only place I was able to find the right replacement. Replacing one handle was much better than replacing all four.

Exact match, comes with instructions, and it is very easy to install. I called a locksmith to give me a quote for a few items, including the replacement of my broken PGT sliding glass door handle. He emailed me the quote the next day. He wanted to charge me $195 for this handle and its installation. After reviewing his entire quote, I asked him why a few of the items seemed high, given that they did not require any drilling. He gave me a line about how there was only one place he could order the handle from, and how it cost over $130, and how it would take 45 mins. to install... To make a long story short, item 13-423-3 is the exact same handle that I have on all my sliding glass doors. I am so glad I found you; the Internet tells all. I have the PGT Patio Door that needed a new handle. The one I ordered fit perfectly! I now know where to go for parts.
