Manual version engages multipoint when door handle is lifted. Added vertical strength is a proven benefit of the shootbolt version providing extra security through the locking points in the head and sill of the
door. Hoppe 3 point door lock has shootbolt pins that come out vertically at the bottom and top of the door.
The Gear includes the bottom shootbolt. Top and Middle Extensions must be ordered separately.
