2. Replace the Euro profile cylinder lock on your existing multipoint lock and Mount a Tedee Pro smart lock on your door in minutes
3. Calibrate the Tedee Pro to your Euro version Single or Multipoint door lock and your done!
How it works with Hoppe Euro Version Locks
To Lock the Door:
1. Lift handle lever
2. Engage the Tedee Pro App on your phone to lock the door from the outside or enter PIN on keypad. Or turn the knob if you are on the inside.
On single-point door locks, there is no need to lift the lever
***Manual version locks cannot use the Auto-Lock function due to having to lift the handle.
To Unlock the Door from Exterior:
1. Engage the App to retract the deadbolt or if you purchase the keypad, all you have to do is enter a PIN.
2. Push the Lever down to open the door.
3. When inside to unlock the door, turn the Tedee thumbturn to unlock the door or use the app.
How it works with G-U Ferco Key Driven lock (Eagle Auto - Triple Latch, Secury Auto):
To Lock door
1. Will open the door with or without levers with just the Tedee app or from the inside or turn the Tedee thumbturn to lock the door.
2. Can be programmed to automatically lock after you have entered the home or office instantly or with a delay.
To Unlock door
1. No need to touch the door, no lever needed, can Lock or Unlock the door with the app and can be programmed to unlock the door when you arrive.
To be compatible with your existing trim plate, your new cylinder needs to extend 3mm or longer from the backplate edge. See Image 3.
