85Z Easy Lift Spiral Window Balances

85Z Series pretension spiral window balance replacements. 9/16" tube diameter. Metal tube. Has 2 pins at end of rod to be used in a tilt window or add a (-2) end suffix to add our 70-540 clip for a non-tilt window. Support heavier sash weights with superior operating performance. 

General Info:
Spiral Balances are already known for their consistent operating forces in raising and lowering sash. 
85Z Series offers increased lift assistance to operation of heavier sash -up to 60 lbs -well beyond conventional spiral and block & tackle products available today.
85Z Series also eliminates the need to tension product on the job or the factory floor.
If you currently have a window using a 5/8" spiral platform, mounting 85Z Series will remain the same. No tensioning required. It operates in the same style tilt shoes in use today. It should also fit into most windows currently utilizing our 88L Series or 60 Series Balances.
Outwardly, it looks virtually identical to our 85 Series Balance but 85Z balances will have a number stamped on them. 85Z Series will fit into the same jambs that 85 Series fits into and provides a similar look.
It's pre-tensioned. Many of our customers have been asking for a pre-tensioned spiral product. Here it is. Just mount the balance, connect the carrier, and it's done!
