This reply is in reference to the last review concerning the Left and Right configuration for the handle. All the handles with 2265 on the back plate are reversible. What you need to do is make sure the Thumb Latch is located in the correct position. The Thumb latch turns 360 degrees before assembly. Just put the handle in the correct position before you screw in the handle to the Backing Plate. Once that is done you can attach it to the door. After you put in the Mortise lock if purchased. The sash control handle was exactly what I need. The shipping was fast and the handles were easy to install and look great.

With a little help from the good folks at Window and Door Parts, I was able to install the handle and lock and it works perfectly! The service you receive with this company is outstanding!

Did not realize that we had to also order a plate to go on the handle to make the lock shaft fit correctly. We did make it work though. Very sturdy.

Parts were exact replacements and installed easily with enclosed instructions.

Exact match to existing equipment. worked well, The instructions for trimming the latch rods are lacking. Fast shipping. All told a good experience/deal.

The handle is of high quality and is more attractive than the one it replaced. I did have some trouble getting it installed (the tails or spindles had to be cut down), and I ended up getting a locksmith to do the install. I think the installation instructions could be better, but all in all I am very pleased with the product.

Apparently there are right and left hand configurations. I don't think that is spelled out on the web site when you place an order. Luckily I could still use the old mounting hardware since only the inside lock mechanism was broken. Otherwise I would have had to punch out holes and that would have looked awful.
