I recently purchased a mortise lock from Window and Door Parts. The day after ordering, I received an email from the manager asking me to call him as he thought I might have ordered the wrong lock (he had also tried calling me but when he didn't receive an answer he decided to try an email so that if I did have the wrong lock ordered, I could received the correct one ASAP). He wanted to make sure that I didn't have to go through having to return the wrong lock and then wait for the new lock to arrive. Once he had me on the phone, he asked me if I could take the phone to where the door was with the broken lock and step by step he asked me where screws were located on my lock, the shape of the lock, etc., and by my answers was able to determine that I had, in fact, ordered the wrong lock. Immediately after hanging up, he sent me the correct lock which arrived 2 days later. Having worked in supervision and management for 42 years, I recognized outstanding customer service while working with Window and Door Parts. This may have been the best customer service I've ever received, and the lock works perfectly!!

I had no success finding a mortise lock for a 15 year old door locally. It was a great relief when I found the part I needed an WindowandDoor Parts.
