Ashland mulipoint door hardware. Ashland has a concealed rod version used in Marvin, PGT and Jeldwen doors. They also have a version that mounts to the side of the door commonly used by Caradco, Therma-Tru and others. Ashland makes a 3 point locking system with shootbolts and a single point mortise lock which has a spring latch and deadbolt at the handle position and no other locking points.
There are two different style multipoint locks.
1) Multipoint lock with shoot bolts which this one has a metal faceplate that runs the length of the door edge. Vertical locking points at the top and bottom of the door.
2) Multipoint lock with concealed rods. Thi lock has rods that run the length of the door, but are not seen on the edge. Vertical locking points at the top and bottom of the door that thread into the Ashland gearbox.
